I totally went along with Bella while reading, and let’s face it this was really never even a debate for her. I love that dreamy, old-world gentleman thing that Edward has going on. But I had to go with Jacob in the end. I don’t want to become a vampire. And I prefer the whole warm skin thing. Can you imagine being married to a supra-handsome space heater? I am FOR that.

I could not possibly be less interested in this film. Did you even see the first one? It was awful! Mindless tripe! The only reason to see this one is Taylor Lautner and there are so many pictures of him free on the internet there’s no reason to waste $10 on an air-conditioned nap in the middle of winter.

I did see the first one! On opening night! It was terrible. But that doesn’t mean I don’t plan to see this one as well.

Umm, neither? Not a huge fan of Twilight. Saw the last movie and didn’t really care for it that much. And I really dislike the second book of the series I hope they don’t make Bella as whiny and pathetic in the movie as she was in the book.

And I gotta say, I much prefered Rob as Cedric Diggory than as Edward. He was much hotter there. He kind of freaked me out in the first movie. If someone stared at me like he did with Bella, I’d be super weirded out. :shivers:

I’ve listened to all the twilight books (’cept the last third of “Breaking Dawn”) on audiobook. I loved the first book, the second I really could feel Bella’s pain on losing Edward, but then I TOTALLY fell for Jake! After the second, all the rest of the books just kinda fell flat for me.

As for the movie, I thought the first one was okay, not all that great. Edward kinda looks creepy to me, although I get that’s the point. But Jake is just so warm and fun and in the books he just seemed awesome to be around!

I guess, this comment was just one large beat-around-the-bush argument with myself to say yeah, Jake. Completely and thoroughly. But I’m not obsessed with Twilight!

Oh, I am so excited about this! I have a ticket to the midnight show. I have my Team Edward shirt. I have New Moon buttons to wear. I’m a middle school girl in a twentysomething body.

In defense of my guy, he’s not a werewolf. Didn’t that one vampire in the end tell everyone they’re actually shape shifters?
